About Wildly True

Wildly True is a prediction game built around extraordinary true stories. Read the setup, choose what you think happened, then discover the answer and its context.

The public story collection also lets you read each full story and visit its supporting source without making a prediction.

How we check our stories

We select stories from sourceable real events. We check the central facts, the correct answer and the alternative answer options against supporting sources. Each public story page names and links to its source so you can follow up for yourself.

Our stories are concise accounts, not complete histories. An uncertain or disputed claim should be described as uncertain or disputed, rather than presented as settled fact. A surprising detail still needs evidence.

Report an error

If you spot a factual error or a broken source link, contact Colley Apps. Include the story title or page URL, the detail you think needs correcting and a supporting source if you have one.

We review reports against the supporting material and correct the story when needed. Our privacy policy explains how to contact us about your information.
